Like Clockwork Nax seemed crazier than usual. He skittered about at his station, muttering anxious words and flicking his fingers. James ignored him, over the time that he had been working in the shack he had learnt to live with his soft chattering. The ticks did sometimes annoy him if he hadn't slept well or if he found himself in a bad mood, but most of the time he was just glad for his company. Translucency. The way the room was painted annoyed him greatly. The base colour of the walls was an awful beige colour, the floral pattern a patronising shade of gold. Quin Blackwell found himself sat upon one of the many elegant sofas in the lounge. His skin was olive, an exotic dark shade that was different to all of the other guests. They were so pale, and seemed to celebrate it by ridiculously powdering their faces. Quin held a glass in his hand that he sipped from as he studied the people who walked by.
